Niobium Technology Center
At the Technology Center, we develop new products and applications of Niobium technology. In addition, we invest in the technological improvement of the processes used in the manufacturing of our products.
Advancing Industrial Processes
With the premise of scientific development, our team of technicians and researchers work to improve and expand industrial processes, encompassing aspects that cover all stages of the production chain.
Water Conservation
One of our priorities is to increase the level of recirculation of the water used in our production. We have invested in this and have achieved excellent results: we reuse 96% of all the water used in our production.
CBMM Quality
We are committed to ensuring excellence in everything we do, whether it's research, processing, production, or the commercialization of Niobium products. We understand that the quality of our tests is crucial to achieving the high standards of precision and reliability required to meet our clients' demands. To this end, we have implemented the Integrated Management Policy, which also adheres to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard. This accreditation covers 75 tests, including sample collection and analyses of raw and wastewater, air quality, atmospheric emissions, drinking water, FeNb briquettes, FeNb, and FeNb VG.

Cutting-edge technology driving precision in analysis
CBMM continuously invests in state-of-the-art equipment, which keeps the company on the cutting edge of the latest advances in analytics. The laboratory is equipped with high-tech tools to perform a range of analyses, including X-ray spectrometry (Axios, Axios Fast), ICP-MS (PerkinElmer NexION 300S, NexION 300X), ICP-OES (PerkinElmer Optima 5300, 7300DV, 7300V); ion exchange chromatography (Metrohm Compact IC Flex); oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen analyzers (LECO TCH600, OHN836); and carbon and sulfur analyzers (LECO CS600, CS844). Physical tests such as measuring particle size and surface area are also performed using specialized equipment (Bettersizer S3 PLUS and Malvern Mastersizer 3000).

Our laboratory counts on a team of more than 50 highly qualified and trained professionals, who are dedicated to ensuring complete customer satisfaction. One of the main objectives of our laboratory is to ensure the accuracy level of niobium in our products.

Metallurgical processes and materials research center
Pioneering and unprecedented in the world, the MPMRC enables the obtainment of super alloy prototypes, in addition to collaborating with the insertion of special and innovative Niobium products in the aerospace and energy industries.
Aerospace Quality Policy
CBMM is AS9100 certified, an international standard for quality management in the aerospace industry, ensuring safe and reliable products for Aviation, Space, and Defense. This system covers research, design, development, and production of Niobium alloys and superalloys at the CPMPM – Materials and Metallurgical Processes Research Center.
